Biography

I am a pulmonary and critical care physician treating all types of lung diseases, with an emphasis on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). I serve as the medical director of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program at Ohio State Outpatient Care East, where my team and I design personalized exercise programs to help patients with chronic lung diseases improve their quality of life. I also regularly care for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit.

My patients can always expect an individualized and compassionate approach when they come to see me. I aim to provide the best medical care while also empowering each patient to take an active role in their care as we work together to achieve their health goals.

I strive to help my patients adapt and manage their chronic lung diseases in positive ways. I have a research and clinical interest in the role of mindfulness, which encourages us to live in the present moment. This practice can help us notice patterns and behaviors and can be a powerful tool for healthy behavioral change.

When I’m not working, I enjoy going for walks and relaxing with my family, practicing yoga and reading.
