About MeI believe that every patient can be an athlete. I enjoy working with my patients to help them become active and healthy individuals.
I’m interested in sports medicine, physical medicine, orthopedics and problems related to the musculoskeletal system. In addition, I like working with patients on injury prevention, women's medicine and sports-related concussions.
I teach medical students, residents and fellows about family medicine, sports medicine and patient-centered medicine.
Sports are a big part of my life. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling. I’m also a team physician for The Ohio State University. I’m involved with women's ice hockey, men's volleyball, swimming and diving, synchronized swimming, crew, and the pistol and rifle teams. I’m also the medical director of the annual Pelotonia bicycle event, which supports cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 03/28/2017, Dr. McCamey has reported no financial relationships with medical device, research and/or drug companies.
