About Me

I believe that every patient can be an athlete. I enjoy working with my patients to help them become active and healthy individuals.

I’m interested in sports medicine, physical medicine, orthopedics and problems related to the musculoskeletal system. In addition, I like working with patients on injury prevention, women's medicine and sports-related concussions.

I teach medical students, residents and fellows about family medicine, sports medicine and patient-centered medicine.

Sports are a big part of my life. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling. I’m also a team physician for The Ohio State University. I’m involved with women's ice hockey, men's volleyball, swimming and diving, synchronized swimming, crew, and the pistol and rifle teams. I’m also the medical director of the annual Pelotonia bicycle event, which supports cancer research at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.

I also hold the following academic title:
Assistant Professor of Clinical Family Medicine

Professional. Appointment was not long. Steroid shot into frozen shoulder using ultrasound.

I really only spent like 2 minutes with the actual provider. Another male doctor did all my arm exercises and told her what he thought and then she came in and did like 2 and said ok. I would've liked to feel that she was more involved. she was however knowledgeable and concerned for my health and well being.
