Biography
I earned my American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in 2005 and have worked in a variety of settings across the country. I came to Ohio State in 2013, where I received training and competency working with the disorders of consciousness population. I have a continued interest in traumatic brain injury as well as dysphagia across the span of populations. I have presented at the community, state and national level. I strive to provide individualized care to each patient I encounters.
Outside of clinical care, I am the team lead for Evidence-Based Practice for acute care, and helps to ensure the most up-to-date services and education are being delivered to patients and families.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Keri Scheid has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
