Biography

I am a nurse practitioner, specializing in palliative care, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My nursing practice focuses on symptom management, goals-of-care discussions, and helping patients and families navigate complex medical decisions with confidence and support.

I have felt a calling to Palliative care because of the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their loved ones during some of life's most challenging moments. My approach to care is centered on compassion and communication, and helping each patient live as fully and comfortably as possible.

I specialize in both managing symptoms associated with serious illnesses, and in facilitating thoughtful conversations about goals of care, treatment options and the priorities that matter most to each patient and family. I believe that excellent palliative care goes beyond addressing physical symptoms. It also means listening closely, providing guidance and supporting patients and families through uncertainty with honesty, empathy and respect.

I earned my Master of Science degree in nursing as an acute care nurse practitioner from The Ohio State University College of Nursing. My clinical experience and commitment to palliative care have strengthened my belief that caring for patients means caring for the whole person while supporting the people who matter most to them.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and running. These activities bring me joy, balance and perspective, allowing me to bring my best self to the patients and families I serve.
