About Me
I practice in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, specializing in voice and swallowing disorders. Both of these health conditions also have significant social implications, and it’s very satisfying to be able to restore these abilities to a patient.
Regardless of the reason for a visit, I believe in treating the entire patient. Our multidisciplinary teams work together with the patient as our central focus, developing targeted and tailored treatment plans for each individual. This approach enables us to provide more targeted treatments, fewer side effects and better outcomes.
Ohio State provides access to the highest quality of equipment and the ability to work with world-renowned clinicians and researchers. I appreciate being part of this top-notch team. Serving as Ohio State's medical director of ambulatory services also allows me to contribute to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center outside of my areas of specialty.
When I'm not on the job, I enjoy traveling, reading and attending Ohio State football games.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/01/2020, Dr. Forrest has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

excellent care with my provider
I have the highest regard for Dr. Forrest's professionalism, surgical skills, personal communication and caring. He is special.
Always listens and caring.
Very good - Dr. Forrest was patient, thorough & kind.
It was all good.
Respectfully, all my experiences with my care provider, Dr. Forrest are second to none! Moreover, he showed me how to hold the bottle of ear antibiotics in my hand for a few minute to accumulate it to body temperature in order that I will not get dizzy! In addition, he went out of his way to provide me with information for Inspire Therapy; and some requested suggestions for Dental facilities. I have been very Blessed by GOD to have Dr. Forrest as my Doctor, ENT professional specialist executive! Thank you!
Dr. Forrest is THE BEST! Very helpful and caring.
Dr. Forrest is very attentive to me as his patient.
