About Me

I practice in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, specializing in voice and swallowing disorders. Both of these health conditions also have significant social implications, and it’s very satisfying to be able to restore these abilities to a patient.

Regardless of the reason for a visit, I believe in treating the entire patient. Our multidisciplinary teams work together with the patient as our central focus, developing targeted and tailored treatment plans for each individual. This approach enables us to provide more targeted treatments, fewer side effects and better outcomes.

Ohio State provides access to the highest quality of equipment and the ability to work with world-renowned clinicians and researchers. I appreciate being part of this top-notch team. Serving as Ohio State's medical director of ambulatory services also allows me to contribute to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center outside of my areas of specialty.

When I'm not on the job, I enjoy traveling, reading and attending Ohio State football games.

Thank you to Dr. Forrest for explaining to me I needed to use my Flonase twice daily during this Spring allergy season.

Outstanding! RN office/doctor that provides quality health care in a timely/caring manner. An office that could be used at a model throughout the OSU system. Dr. Forrest takes his patient care to the highest level. I have been fortunate to have his care for 4+ years.

Dr Forrest always explains things so clearly and always gives a positive solution. I always feel so much better when I leave. He is a true professional yet kind, caring and understanding. I would absolutely go to no one else and have recommended him to many friends. The only negative is that we can't "clone" him.
