About Me

I practice in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery, specializing in voice and swallowing disorders. Both of these health conditions also have significant social implications, and it’s very satisfying to be able to restore these abilities to a patient.

Regardless of the reason for a visit, I believe in treating the entire patient. Our multidisciplinary teams work together with the patient as our central focus, developing targeted and tailored treatment plans for each individual. This approach enables us to provide more targeted treatments, fewer side effects and better outcomes.

Ohio State provides access to the highest quality of equipment and the ability to work with world-renowned clinicians and researchers. I appreciate being part of this top-notch team. Serving as Ohio State's medical director of ambulatory services also allows me to contribute to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center outside of my areas of specialty.

When I'm not on the job, I enjoy traveling, reading and attending Ohio State football games.

    Reassuring

Dr Forest is the best doctor I have ever been under the care of. He correctly diagnosed my core health issue that 15 months of visiting a number of other specialists. Dr Forest diagnosed the issue within minutes. He has followed up after solving the immediate issue to put me well on the way to improving my overall health. He could easily have only concerned himself with the health issue within his specialty but instead has made sure I'm seeing the right people and getting the care to help me with my overall health. He is a world class doctor and person and I appreciate the good fortune of being cared for by him. You couldn't have a better representative of OSU.

I have been seeing Dr. Forrest for over 24 years for Botox injections for spasmodic dystonia. He is not only an excellent doctor, I consider him a friend. He cares about his patients, makes them feel comfortable, and takes a genuine interest in their total well-being. There are very few doctors with the character and integrity of Dr. Forrest.
