As a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) and certified Menopause Society practitioner, my philosophy is to treat every patient as a whole person and as a family member. This includes an emphasis on evidence-based medicine, physical movement, nutrition and mental well-being. My patients trust me to explain their options, engage in open communication with them and to be a partner in their health care journeys. This approach allows me to personalize care and optimize each patient’s health.
I chose to become an Ob/Gyn because this field allows me to develop lasting relationships with my patients across the full span of their lives – from adolescence and childbearing to menopause and beyond. It’s especially gratifying to be part of some of the most memorable moments in their lives.
In my practice, I care for women through all life stages – offering prenatal, postpartum and gynecologic care. I perform gynecologic surgical procedures as well as vaginal and cesarean births. I provide contraception and treat menstrual problems, pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction and pelvic infections. I also perform genetic, osteoporosis and cancer screenings. I have a special focus on midlife women’s health, managing vasomotor symptoms, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, hormone and nonhormone therapies, and wellness strategies for women in their 40s, 50s and beyond. I strive to build meaningful relationships with patients and provide care that is personalized, collaborative and rooted in respect.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a special place to work because it brings together health care team members from diverse backgrounds and experiences. This creates a collaborative environment where everyone feels supported and can focus on providing the best possible patient care.
I lead our Menopause Program within the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition to caring for patients, I teach medical students and help shape the next generation of Ob/Gyns by developing educational initiatives to close the national gap in menopause education.
Beyond the clinic, I am an active member of The Menopause Society and frequently share my expertise through media and community outreach. My work emphasizes empowering women with accurate, accessible information so they can make informed choices about their health.
When I’m not seeing patients, I love spending time with my husband, three daughters and our extended family. We enjoy exploring the many outdoor spaces, museums, shows and local restaurants that Columbus has to offer. We also love hiking, cycling and traveling together.

I am a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist (Ob/Gyn) and certified Menopause Society practitioner (MSCP), specializing in comprehensive midlife and menopausal care. I serve as Clinical Program Lead Physician for Menopause within the Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
My clinical expertise includes management of vasomotor symptoms, genitourinary syndrome of menopause, and hormone and nonhormone therapies for symptom relief and long-term health optimization. I am deeply engaged in advancing menopause education for trainees and clinicians, and I serve as a mentor for menopause management within ambulatory practice.
I’ve been recognized for excellence in teaching and patient care, earning the 2024 CREOG National Faculty Award and a Castle Connolly Top Doctor designation. I present locally and nationally on menopause, women’s wellness and hormone therapy, and I contribute to the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s public health outreach through media features and community education initiatives.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
