As a physician assistant in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in body contouring and aesthetic services. My role includes assisting in the operating room, performing nonsurgical aesthetic services in the clinic, and evaluating new, returning and postoperative patients.
Typical procedures I assist with include abdominoplasty, monsplasty, breast reduction, breast lift, breast augmentation, brachioplasty, thighplasty, posterior body lift, liposuction and fat grafting. Nonsurgical aesthetic services I perform include injectables, microneedling and laser therapy and I also evaluate patients.
I enjoy working in this field because I am passionate about helping to improve my patients’ self-esteem and their quality of life. I am lucky to have the opportunity to be a consistent and familiar presence to my patients. I am involved in their care before, during and after surgery. Patients can rely on me for support throughout the entire surgical process.
I am board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). I am also an affiliate member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).
