I am a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I provide care for patients with sleep disorders and respiratory conditions. My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter.
I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers.

No bad experiences
This was my second visit with this provider. She reviewed all of the data she had received from my CPAP machine and offered suggestions to alleviate some of the problems I was having.
Showed great concern on my position
She listened and responded to the questions I asked, probing to get more details.
She is very knowledgeable about my sleep apnea treatment. She addressed my concerns. She emphasized what I need to do to get the maximum benefit of using my equipment.

Laura is very meticulous. Does a thorough review of my health. Discussed options on getting better night's rest. Timing of melatonin based on sleep logs. I've since implemented them and I've seen immediate improvement.

Dr Segrist is wonderful she listens and is easy to talk with and explains things on my level. You need to hire more Doctors like her. She truly cares for me and nowadays that is difficult to find.
