Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Doc was great
While I am sure that he is knowledgeable about sleep, but he was more concerned about his computer than taking a few minutes to look me face-to-face and listening to me. This was my first appointment with him and since it was the end of the day I felt a little discouraged that he was more concerned about getting out of the office on time. He gave me the impression that he knew what was best for me without spending time listening.

Care provider clearly had not read my records before my appointment, was unaware of some major health events (and spiritualization) relevant to my treatment that had occurred prior my appointment. I felt like this lack of preparation impacted the way he analyzed my case and advised me.
