Biography
I joined the Acute Care Rehab team at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in 2017, specializing in occupational therapy in the Neonatal Intensive Care. My concentration lies in oral motor function and infant feeding, with focus on pre-oral stimulation in extremely premature infants, fragile preterm infant feeding, caring for infants with neonatal abstinence syndrome and furthering the development of infants and their families. I have attended the Fragile Infant Feeding Conference, Breastfeeding 201: Promoting Breast Milk and Breastfeeding Success in the NICU, and is General Movement Assessment-certified.
I am a member of multiple disciplinary committees in the NICU, including Breastfeeding, Kangaroo Care, NAS and Neurodevelopmental Care. I completed IGNITE, a 15-month training course, is a member of the National Association of Neonatal Therapists and enjoys incorporating the knowledge I gain from attending continuing education courses to improve my practice and further assist infants and their families.

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
