About Me

As a former collegiate wrestler who underwent four knee surgeries, I am passionate about helping athletes and active individuals ward off the effects of old injuries and combat the effects of time on the injured joint. I have special clinical and research interests in using orthobiologic treatments that restore health to injured tissue, with the goal of stopping the damaging joint process. My goal for each patient is to eliminate sore joints, so they can maximize their quality of life.

I was seeing Dr. Baria for a 2nd opinion. He reviewed my imaging before seeing me and provided a great summary of treatment recommendations based on the research literature and clinical experience. I'm a consumer of the research and he explained some things to me in lay person terms well, and answer all questions from me and my husband. And we ask a lot of questions!

  • Reviewed on Feb 17, 2019

He was very personable, found out what was wrong with me and explained in detail what was happening with my knee.

  • Reviewed on Feb 15, 2019

The visit felt rushed. It seemed as though he was prepared mainly to pass me along to someone else due to results of radiographs. I was offered very little in the way of dealing with the present issue I can in for: back pain due to a strained muscle.
