About Me
When diagnosing a patient, I like to find the root of the pain or limitation. Anyone can diagnose a stress fracture, but I like to know what is causing it and why it is there. The diagnosis is often simple, but determining the root of the problem is essential.
I specialize in medical care for athletes. To me, an athlete can be anyone serious about becoming or maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. Whether your goal is to make it to the big leagues or simply walk your dog around the block, I want to help you reach your goals.
I try to treat every patient who walks in my door as a member of my own family. When creating a treatment plan, I consider the patient an essential part of the decision-making team. I offer several treatment options that I think can be effective. Together, the patient and I devise a plan to meet his or her specific needs.

Dr. Jonesco is a GOLD MINE. He is the kind of guy you can build an entire non invasive program around. Super personality, great bedside manner, skilled at procedures. I hope you don't lose him. He could be the front door to people like me with OA who want help with their bad joints but don't want surgery--yet. You get him more exposure, grow your entire otho program long term.

Humorous, knowledgeable.
Dr. Jonesco has done more to treat my chronic pain issues than any other doctor I have seen in the past 4 years since my injury/illness
I had one of the worst experiences I have had at OSU when visiting Dr. Jonesco. I first met with a medical resident, who was caring and invested in my care. When Dr. Jonesco entered, he was hurried, arrogant, dismissive of my issue and my other health problem that impacted my ability to engage in testing/examination exactly as he wanted. He was inflexible and seemed dismissive. He didn't explain anything to me until I asked questions. He was with me for about 6 mins. I left feeling sad that I wasted my time and disappointed with my care. I came from 1.5 hrs. away to get superb care and my care was very sub par.
Very friendly and attentive. Was easy to talk to and thoroughly checked out my injury.
Everything was fine.
Dr. Jonesco and his fellow were both awesome. The fellow was very caring and empathetic and Dr. Jonesco has excellent bedside manner. He is friendly and chatty, explained everything very thoroughly, and I thought he did a great job teaching his fellow who did my knee injection (and she did a great job doing my injection too).
Very attentive and took the time to wright down my plan of care then gave me the option to chose what I wanted
Dr. Janesco is the best. I would rate him an 11 if I could. I recommend him to friends or family if appropriate.
Doctor kind - took time to listen & explains very well - I like him. Had a solution very pleased.
Very personable as well as very good at what he does.
I feel he is a very arrogant and did not seem to care that my pain level is about at 8
Dr. Jonesco is excellent - one of the best sport's med docs I have ever seen!
None - best experience!
Friendly and knowledgeable.
Dr. Jonesco was wonderful, he listened intently to me and I never felt rushed. We talked about all possible solutions and next steps which I appreciated. He was very nice and thorough in his questions and exam.
Good listener, thorough, gives good advice & recommendations.
