Biography
Michaela received her BA in psychology from The Ohio State University. She then moved to New York City where she attended Columbia University, earning a BS and MS in nursing with a specialty in midwifery. She worked with the Midwives at Magee in Pittsburgh and as a laborist at Mt. Carmel St. Ann's prior to joining the midwifery team at Ohio State.
She enjoys taking care of women across their lifespan and empowering them to make the best health care decisions for themselves and their families. Her special interests include family planning and equitable health care.

Listen very intently very helpful
She asked a lot of questions using the info in my medical records, really paid attention to my answers
Very friendly. For the first time in years, I felt heard! I was very comfortable with the provider. She listened to my concerns and offered several possible treatment options.
My provider was very courteous and listed to my concerns and ideas as well as listened to the thoughts of my spouse who attended the appointments. She presented options for our care and then inquired about our preferences while supporting the opportunity for modification in the future if needed.
Thorough and thoughtful, knoledgable
Michaela was excellent! Loved how she cared for me. She was thorough, kind, considerate, and involved me in my healthcare. Everything was easy and helpful.
They were very quick both in the waiting room and in the room waiting for the doctor. I don't think I was in the building for more than 30 minutes. She was very understanding, great listener, gentle, and very very helpful! She explained everything perfectly and was very responsive even after I left the office and into the next week! She truly cares about her patients! The office was clean and every single lady I spoke to or worked with was very sweet and caring! I appreciate you ladies so much!

Michaela Ward is literally the nicest provider I've ever seen. She was so thoughtful and cared so much about what I had to say. The physical exam itself was super comfortable and she was patient and gentle and did everything she could to make it easier. She followed up with me multiple times about medication and health concerns. Additionally, she referred me to a couple other doctors for general health related things, which was SO helpful. I really can't stress how easy and pleasant it was to see her!
