About Me

As a gastroenterology physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in treating pancreatic disorders. I regularly care for patients with acute and chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cysts and cystic fibrosis. I also perform endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures for cancer screening and other diagnostic purposes. My research is focused on enhancing our understanding of pancreatic disorders and advancing treatments.

The Ohio State University has highly specialized experts working collaboratively to provide the best care possible, and it is a privilege to practice at one of the most esteemed pancreas centers in the country.

When I am not working, I enjoy bicycling and reading.

This was the first time I've seen Dr. Ramsey and I loved him! In the past, I've had trouble getting in with OSU gastro doctors and there was a huge wait time to get a visit (I mean months and months). I ended up with an urgent situation and was scheduled to see him as a new patient. Very glad I did.

Dr. Ramsey was kind, caring, informed and he took the time to listen and explain my care going forward. He is a step or more above the rest.

I really like Dr. Ramsey... He is thorough and very understanding about my heath issues

  • Reviewed on May 14, 2024

Dr. Ramsey is the best doctor in all ways. He is kind, gentle, and really listens. He answers questions without making me feel foolish for asking them, and I always feel like his answers are carefully considered and based on evidence. I feel more at ease with him than with any other provider.
