Biography

As a transplant surgeon, I specialize in organ procurement and donor management. I completed my transplant surgery fellowship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, so it’s a pleasure to continue working and growing as a surgeon here. I’m excited to delve into more clinical outcomes research to improve transplant surgical techniques as well as expand the donor pool and extend organ preservation. In addition, I welcome the chance to mentor medical students, residents and fellows in surgical and transplant education.

It’s clear that Ohio State has an excellent work environment that allows for easy collaboration. I’m proud to work at an academic medical center with a top-performing transplant program, ranked in the top 10 for patient volume in the U.S.

In my free time, I enjoy watching sports, seeing a movie and spending time with family and friends.

    Excellent service

My appointment with him was very brief - as planned and expected - so it's hard to say specifically. I'll know more after I see him again

I felt he "talked down" to me. Kept saying my case is complicated at least 5 times. I'm 69 and lived with this issue since birth. I'm not stupid, I fully understand what's going on. He did not treat me like I do understand.

Always very thorough and thoughtful and genuinely concerned about how I am doing and explains everything so I am fully informed of my status
