Academics and research

I am a clinician-researcher interested in the evaluation and advancement of new models of primary care. My interests in health services research began in medical school and internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic. I completed an additional three years of training in health services research and innovation at the University of Pennsylvania with the National Clinician Scholars Program, formerly the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program. I have broad foundational training in biostatistics, causal inference, qualitative research, and cost effectiveness analysis. Specific areas of interest include hypertension and chronic disease management within primary care, as well as the incorporation of advanced technologies in a manner that makes sense for patients and providers. I am excited to further develop my research skills and agenda at Ohio State University and look forward to interdisciplinary collaborations to redesign the way we experience and deliver health care.
