He was absolutely obnoxious to a degree I have not experienced in some time with a care provider. When I would challenge or ask for further explanation of a statement he had made he would display mannerisms of that of a teenager who is frustrated. Eye rolls, dramatic exasperated breaths, shoulder rolls and slumping. It got so bad my husband had to intervene on my behalf and tell him that he was indeed being rude and was acting in a childish manner, to which the provider denied and then did the same disrespectful mannerisms again. I eventually had zero patience for his immaturity and absolute disrespect to myself and my husband that I told him I was in shape physically to deal with his poor attitude and unprofessional care. He was completely unable to see any disrespect he had committed or that he was unable to see me as an individual with a unique life situation that needed more than simply saying "don't drink caffeine before bed, go to bed at 9 and wake up before 8 and don't nap." But that would have required effort and humility and he had no room for either that day. As soon as my husband and I pushed back on his opinions and attitudes it became apparent we were speaking with a highly socially incompetent provider who is not able to be empathetic or compassionate to his patients and sees himself without fault. I quickly lost respect for him and let him know I had no time for this behavior as I was exhausted (and was not expecting to deal with a teenager with a stethoscope this early in my day). My husband and I said we were done with the appointment as it was going no where and being unproductive. My husband asked for the office managers number as he will also be filing his own complaint. We made a point as we left to let the staff and our nurse know they are wonderful and that it was him we are displeased and disappointed in. He appears to be the kind to project responsibility of wrong doing from himself and I didn't want them to feel any sense of blame or respon
