Physician, Assistant Professor
Transplant
Department: Surgery
As a transplant surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am passionate about improving, and often helping to save, my patients’ lives. It is highly rewarding to see a transplant patient quickly transition from a sickly state to a healthy one after surgery.
I specialize in liver, kidney and pancreas transplants, including living-donor procedures. I also provide vascular access surgery. I have worked in hospitals both here in the United States and internationally, which has given me experience in a wide variety of clinical scenarios, including performing complex or difficult surgeries.
In my free time, I love watching movies with my wife and two boys. I enjoy playing volleyball and badminton.
Please note: Not all physicians schedule patients at each listed location.
Transplantation is an ever-evolving field and I am passionate about exploring innovative techniques and treatment options that optimize patient care. My research interests include immunosuppression, infectious diseases and improving vascular access outcomes.
It is a privilege to do this work at The Ohio State University. I appreciate the supportive environment and I love the opportunity to help train the next generation of physicians. In my role, I also serve as an assistant professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
