I am particularly aware of the benefits of preventive health care and chronic disease management and the care for acute illnesses. I’m passionate about developing new and innovative ways to improve patient experience here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
I think it’s important to make access to care as easy as possible for patients. I maintain optimal clinic access and offer online communication to my patients. The staff and physicians at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center are dedicated to their patients and I enjoy working with them to ensure the highest quality of care. I find extreme satisfaction in innovation and the successful treatment of our patients.
In my spare time, I enjoy relaxing with my family, reading, watching movies, cooking and gardening.

Look, I like Dr Tayal but I felt very dismissed by him this time. I've been having pain for several years that I only brought up to him last year. I saw him again because it's gotten worse, he ran tests for what the signs were pointing to, but those tests were negative. So.i get told to take ibuprofen and bring it up again if it gets worse? Based on my age, this pain isn't normal, and it's having an impact on my daily life, even if it's not a 10 of 10 on the pain scale constantly. Why is the default "oh you're youngish, just live in pain until it gets worse or you're older?"
He's a good guy. Visit went fine.

Doctor was late.He did not even look at the questionnaire I was asked to fill out before the visit.I have heart palpitations and this was not addressed.

I had some concerns about my SBP Dr. Tayal addressed it quickly and clarified my doubts and resolve my concerns after consulting with my cardiologist in a timely fashion. I appreciate it deeply.

Dr. Tayal offered and encouraged me to participate in monitoring of my in collaboration with a pharmacist. The pharmacist met with me literally within minutes and set me up for this. I was VERY impressed about the the team effort I was going to be getting providing oversight of my condition.

Dr T listens, trusts me, and seems to take my preferences and input into consideration in making decisions about my care. I like his relaxed demeanor; it helps put me at ease.
My care provider was generally dismissive, needed to be reminded that I had asthma, and gave me the impression he felt I was wasting his time.
I felt like he thought I shouldn't have made an appointment. I was miserable. Very unusual and uncomfortable and my symptoms persisted for several more days after seeing him. I have abnormal lab results and NO ONE has followed up from my Care team. Very concerning. Dr. Tayal is too busy for his patients. This is unacceptable.

Greatly appreciate the teacher/student (ie physician/resident) experience which provides an opportunity for two sets of eyes as well a two opportunities to hear/understand the medical evaluations and advice.
I adore him. He's smart, attentive, and relaxed. He listens to and seems to value my perspective. While he's cautious and willing to let things unfold, he doesn't let my concerns go unnoticed.

The experience regarding my health care provider was great, he knock on the door before he entered the room, washed his hands and pulled up my chart and start explaining my health and drew a chart on the board to help explain the last procedure I had.
