Biography
I am an anesthesiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, specializing in providing anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures. With extensive training and experience in anesthesiology, I am dedicated to ensuring the safety and comfort of my patients throughout their surgeries.
With additional training in cardiothoracic anesthesia, I am dedicated to taking excellent care of patients as they undergo heart, lung and vascular surgeries. I work closely with a team of skilled surgeons, nurses, perfusionists and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive and personalized care to each patient depending on their medical issues and concerns. My goal is to provide the highest quality of anesthesia services to support the overall health and well-being of our patients.
I chose a career in anesthesiology because I am passionate about the critical role it plays in patient care and the opportunity it provides to make significant impact on patient outcomes in surgery. My patients can rely on me to provide effective pain management, keep them safe and provide compassionate care.
At the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am committed to staying at the forefront of advancements in anesthesiology. I actively participate in continuing education and professional development courses to ensure that I am always up-to-date with the latest anesthesia techniques and best practices.

Academics and research
I am an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and my research focuses on advancing knowledge that improves patient care, perioperative outcomes and the science of anesthesiology. I specialize in clinical and translational research that explores questions relevant to anesthesia, surgical care and patient safety.
My work is dedicated to generating evidence that can inform clinical decision-making and improve outcomes for patients undergoing surgical and procedural care. Through collaboration across disciplines, I seek to advance research that enhances the quality, safety and effectiveness of anesthesiology practice. I am committed to translating research findings into meaningful improvements in patient care, and also to supporting the education and development of future physicians and researchers.
