Biography

I am a Specialty Practice Pharmacist in Infectious Diseases and the Immunocompromised ID Lead at The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. My clinical practice focuses on caring for immunocompromised patients, including those with hematologic malignancies, solid organ transplants, bone marrow transplants, and cellular therapies.

My work centers on optimizing antimicrobial therapy, improving infection management in vulnerable populations, and supporting antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship initiatives to ensure safe and effective care. My research and practice interests include infections in immunocompromised hosts, antimicrobial and diagnostic stewardship, and the management of multidrug resistant Gram negative infections.

I completed my PGY2 Infectious Diseases Pharmacy Residency at the University of Michigan and my PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at the Detroit Medical Center after earning my Doctor of Pharmacy from Wayne State University. My work has been recognized with professional and teaching awards, including the SIDP Infectious Diseases Pharmacotherapy Paper of the Year Award (2024), the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program Teacher of the Year Award (2023–2024), and the OSUWMC Preceptor Excellence Award (2021–2022).

I value the collaborative environment at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, which supports my efforts to advance care for immunocompromised patients, strengthen system wide antimicrobial stewardship, and mentor future clinicians. My focus remains on improving therapeutic strategies and driving meaningful, sustainable gains in patient outcomes.

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
