About Me

I am a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in emergency mental health services. I am passionate about using innovative research to help develop enhanced therapeutics that improve patient outcomes and alleviate suffering.

I am the founding director of the Center for Neuroimaging, Neurophenotyping, Neurocomputation and Neuromodulation (C4N) here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. The advanced technology in the center will help us transform our understanding of brain-related conditions and develop new screening and prevention tools.

My role also includes helping to educate the next generation of providers. I am a professor and executive vice chair of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health.

In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
