Biography
My approach to care is rooted in educating my patients and empowering them to take an active role in their health care. As a family medicine physician, I specialize in treating chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol and hypothyroidism, and addressing anxiety and depression. I also work with my patients on preventive care strategies to avoid serious illness.
I earned my post-doctorate at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I am thrilled to advance my career as a Buckeye. I am also excited for the opportunity to participate in research efforts here at Ohio State. My prior experience includes time spent doing research with the National Institutes of Health.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Seriously the best PCP I've seen and I think that says a lot coming from a Black woman and fellow healthcare provider. Dr. Suer took his time to get to know me, ask how I as adjusting to parenthood, and explained everything in details. You can tell he gets to know and truly listens to his patients.

Dr. Suer is an excellent doctor in every way - extremely knowledgeable, explains everything thoroughly, very personable.
Dr Suer saved my life and hands down the best doctor I have ever had. I came in his office at 355 lbs with stage 4 kidney disease. He has supported me with coming off almost 11 prescriptions, under him I have lost almost 60 lbs now, I am now at a stable stage 2 ckd. I went from having 18 months to live to now having a chance at a full life. I am extremely grateful to him and can never pay him back for all the good he has done.
He's the best doctor I've had at OSU. While most of the doctors I've seen here have been professional, he stands out for being incredibly friendly and approachable. Talking to him feels like chatting with a friend, and he has an amazing memory for details. I wish all doctors were like him.
