Biography
I love my career as a gastroenterologist because every day I have the opportunity to help alleviate someone’s suffering. I’m passionate about using my skill sets and knowledge to improve people’s lives. This is an honorable and rewarding vocation and I’m motivated to always pursue excellence in what I do.
I specialize in caring for patients with pancreatic diseases and disorders, as well as conditions that require advanced endoscopic procedures.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a wonderful place to work because everyone is incredibly passionate about what they do. That devotion and excitement leads to exceptional patient care.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my wife and two children. I enjoy reading the Bible and theology books. I also like watching movies and working out.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Peter Lee has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
