Biography

I am a board-certified family medicine physician with subspecialty training in addiction medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I care for patients with substance use disorders, including opioid- and alcohol-related conditions. My patients can rely on me for high-quality, compassionate care and clear, honest communication.

I believe all people should be treated with respect, and I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment for patients and their families. I listen closely to each person’s concerns and work together with them to develop a shared plan that supports a healthy and fulfilling life.

I provide addiction treatment services mainly in the outpatient setting, connecting patients to the level of care that best meets their needs. My approach includes evidence-based treatments such as medications for substance use disorders, including injectable naltrexone and buprenorphine, along with ongoing support tailored to each patient.

I also teach and mentor future providers as an associate professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health in The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
