Biography
Punit Agrawal, DO, is a neurologist and clinical assistant professor of neurology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. His clinical focus is the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, tremor, dystonia and other movement disorders. Dr. Agrawal has specific clinical interest in the use of deep brain stimulation therapy for the treatment of approved movement disorders including Parkinson’s disease, tremor and primary dystonia. He also is trained and practices treatment of focal dystonia with botulinum toxin therapy. He is involved in clinical research trials for movement disorders and also neuromodulation.
Dr. Agrawal earned his doctor of osteopathic medicine at the University Of New England College Of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine. He completed both his residency in neurology and fellowship in movement disorders at Ohio State. He joined the Neurology faculty at Ohio State in July 2007.

He spent enough time with me, reviewed all of my medical history and gave a thorough examination. He has a great personality and bedside manner.
The doctor had reviewed all of my medical records, was up to date on the car accident I was in. He asked very specific questions, referred to notes from my physician and physical therapist. He nailed the problem immediately, and put together a real solution to eliminate the problem.
This Dr is a rare find. You would not believe the difference he has made in my life. He gave me hope where there was none, gave me instruction that has already made an improvement. I could go on for hours. I had seen another dr in his field just months prior who offered no hope for my condition and left me depressed as a result. OSU better hang on to this one. He's the real deal. Competent, knowledgeable and caring.
Dr became very frustrated and displayed a temper by slamming the exam room door. Spoke to me and to my wife like we were children. Very rude and disrespectful. It was a very disappointing visit. We have never experienced anything like this with a physician before.
Friendly, professional, and actually listened to me. Answered my questions, explained my options, and explained why he was prescribing what he did.
He didn't listen to my concerns and seemed to say the opposite of my first visit. My daughter and I left confused.

Dr Agrawal was wonderful! So kind, knowledgeable, and very attentive. He never once rushed through the appt and listened intently to my concerns
He is the best Doc. We have seen in years .
Overall, my experience is always great, especially because most of the time is spent with the physician, which I really appreciate. However, the clinical support feels very limited, and time with the MA for vitals and intake is kept to a bare minimum. They are all very kind it just often seems like the physicians have to take on much more than physicians in other departments due to limited support.
