About Me
As an interventional cardiologist, I specialize in managing patients with coronary artery disease, pulmonary embolisms and other cardiovascular disorders. I am committed to providing personalized cardiovascular care with a strong emphasis on preventative strategies.
My research interests include improvements in managing coronary artery disease and the treatment of pulmonary embolism.
My favorite part about working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is the extensive support structure for our “State of the Heart” cardiovascular service. I also enjoy working at an academic medical center where I’m able to conduct research and help train the next generation of physicians.
In my free time I enjoy staying active, particularly cycling, hiking, swimming and playing tennis.

I have never had a bad experience with Dr. Magorian. I lucked out when I got him. So helpful and courteous. He answered all my questions.
This provider is great but hard to see. The office constantly cancels his appointments or delays them

Dr. Magorien has been with me for the past three decades, and he has been the best cheerleader for my cause. He brought a doctor down from Canada to do my valve repair and Dr. Tyrone David was the best. Dr. David said the valve repair would probably last about six years and it lasted 23 years before I had to have an artificial valve which Dr. Magorien also made happen right here at OSU. I couldn't have any more appreciation for any medical person than I do for Ray Magorien.

Dr. Magorian has been my cardiologist for many years and is always very caring, very pleasant and always on top of my medications and any tests that I might need to keep me as fit and active as possible. I am almost 80 and I still do all the cooking for my husband and myself as well as taking goodies to our children. I also do all my own cleaning (spring cleaning as well) and still do the books for my husbands veterinary practice, so I'm grateful for Dr. Magorian for keeping me heart healthy.
