Biography

As a plastic surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I care for people who’ve experienced traumatic injuries and patients with cancer. I chose to specialize in reconstructive microsurgery because I am passionate about helping patients look, feel and function as they did before their injury or cancer diagnosis. There is no greater privilege than having that opportunity on a daily basis.

I would not be where I am today in my career without mentors who shared their knowledge and skills and helped me to become the best plastic surgeon possible.

It is an honor to now pass along the same mentorship and training to the next generation of physicians. My role includes serving as an assistant professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

Outside of work, I like to travel, stay active by exercising and go paddleboarding and snowshoeing. I also enjoy honing my green thumb, practicing calligraphy, going to the theater, spending time with family and friends and attending sporting events. I was a Division I volleyball player in college and now enjoy watching others play.
