I am a board-certified family nurse practitioner at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating patients with neurological conditions, with a focus on cognitive neurology.
I work with patients experiencing memory changes, cognitive decline and mood disturbances, providing comprehensive evaluations and personalized care plans. I emphasize high-quality, compassionate care and open, honest communication in every encounter.
As part of a multidisciplinary team in the Department of Neurology, I collaborate closely with neurologists, neuropsychologists and other specialists to ensure that each patient receives care tailored to their unique needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am committed to patient education and empowerment. I strive to ensure that every patient understands their condition and treatment options, so they feel confident and supported throughout their care journey.

This was the first time seeing this provider - we got put on waiting list to see Dr Scharre & some how couldn't get the appointment. We said we would take this appointment with this provider because we would have to wait too long. She was excellent & glad we met her - very through.
