Biography
As an occupational medicine physician, I provide injury care to Ohio State University employees in addition to conducting pre-placement and medical surveillance exams. Thus I support the nearly 33,000 employees of the university and provide care when they experience a work-related injury during the course of their daily responsibilities. I believe in utilizing worksite health promotion as a tool to minimize the occurrence of work-related injuries and ensure that our employees maintain an overall higher quality of health.
I came to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in February of 2016 after working for 20 years as the medical director for Navistar, Inc. I am proud to now be a part of this institution in serving our Buckeye community.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Robin Berner has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
