About Me
As a family medicine physician, I believe that each patient and their family are unique and have their own individual needs. I focus on listening to my patients, meeting them where they are and individualizing their care with compassion. In addition, as a parent of a son with special needs I strive to create an environment that is welcoming to all. In my practice I treat a very broad range of conditions in both children and adults and have a particular interest in the management of diabetes, osteoarthritis, asthma and COPD. I am also a native Spanish speaker.
Having graduated from the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University I am very excited to be back at the Wexner Medical Center where I can work with a diverse patient population, teach residents and medical students and practice at the leading edge of medicine.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and two children and watching OSU football.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Bond is at the top of OSU medical doctors. He has an analytical approach with his look at data over time rather than a single-pt. look at today's data. I've noticed that he can look over a large amount of data and identify relationships involving several variables. Another key point, he spends appropriate time at the appointment and is not sharing his time with another patient.

Dr Bond is exceptional in ascertaining the needs and solutions of all my questions and concerns. His level of detail and current knowledge of medications and procedures available causes me to feel very trusting of him in all my medical needs. Dr. Bond is exceptionally thorough. He made me feel as if I was his only patient. First physician I've hadwho talks with you re: meal planning & exercise. He gave examples of food to hep me achieve my goals. He orders only necessary tests keeping preventative health at the forefront.He reviewed lab work in addition to the physical exam.He has a warm and engaging personality. The MA forgot to make a follow up appointment and instead of giving me directions thru the office maze, he walked me to the appointment desk and found someone to promptly assist me. There isn't anything not to like about Dr. Bond!! CLONE him!!!

Attentive
Dr. Bond was very kind and knowledgeable. He had a med student with him that he also treated with respect. When prescribing medication for me, he made sure it was covered with my insurance as well.
The doctor listened carefully to my medical history...I am a new patient...and explained any new tests he thought I needed. Also gave me some insight into existing conditions that I was not aware of.

Dr. Bond is sincerely concerned about me and my health. He and his assistant spent almost 1 hour with me. They personally called to get me an appointment with a cardiologist later the same day!! I cannot imagine any better care and concern.

I really liked my PREVIOUS p. care MD, so i was curious about having someone new. Dr. Bond set me @ ease, was engaging, listened well and provided scientific information - Love nerdy science! Very satisfied! Appreciate evidence-based care/decision making. Also, all my experiences with OSU Medical has felt collaborative - where I am involved with my health care decisions, and am given enough info to make good choices. Refreshing approach after "the other system."

My care provider has always addressed any concerns I have in an expedient manner and has helped to discover some underlying issues thus far. I'm not usually a fan of doctors but he is by far the best I've had in my medical history.

I think the world of Dr. Bond. So much so that my girlfriend and her mother have switched their primary care to him. My parents have decades-long relationship with their PCP, so they aren't switching, but often tell people about how lucky I am to have found a primary care provider I trust and cares for his patients. This isn't as easy to find as one would think it could be. He listens thoroughly, and I trust his opinions and recommendations. He allows for my input and we are on the same page with care, even if progress doesn't happen instantly.

My boyfriend saw him first and then my mother. I was so impressed with the care her given them both. It is just really touching how calm and progressive Dr.Bond is.
