Biography

I am an infectious disease physician who specializes in treating blood diseases such as HIV and AIDS and conditions including endocarditis and osteomyelitis. As the medical director of clinical epidemiology for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center East Hospital, it’s a privilege to help lead our daily efforts to provide the best care possible to everyone who comes through our doors.

When treating patients, I always aim to be compassionate and considerate. My approach is to manage their infection-related issues while also focusing on how their illness affects other parts of their health and lives.

During my training, I was exposed to a wide variety of perspectives on patient care and how best to manage infectious diseases. I take inspiration from those experiences to develop research strategies aimed at optimizing the care we provide to our patients.
