About Me

As a family medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am passionate about caring for patients and optimizing their health. I practice the full spectrum of family medicine, providing care for all individuals from newborns to geriatric patients.

I specialize in men’s and women’s health, adolescent medicine, health promotion, mind-body practices, preventive medicine and disease management. I provide treatments for arthritis, diabetes, asthma, anxiety, depression and other conditions. I love helping my patients to stay healthy so they can achieve their goals in life.

I enjoy the community here at Ohio State, and the resources for patients are outstanding.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, cooking, exercising and listening to music.

Dr. Palmer always takes the time to listen and address questions. She seems to genuinely care about her patients, and does not dismiss any concerns, but rather orders tests as appropriate to rule out possible conditions and provide a diagnosis. She then follows up with patients through MyChart to communicate results and seeks input from her patients on what next steps should be taken.

Because I am a chronic pain patient, I have more than 1 question w/different areas on my body. Yet she only wants me to be concerned bout 1 area. That stops me from being better.

Excellent! She took her time getting to know me. I never felt rushed. Dr. Palmer gave me exercises for my wrist (DeGuervain). She got my shots up to date and I received blood work all in one visit.
