About Me

A fascination with science led me to a career in medicine, but it was an appreciation for people that inspired me to become a primary care physician. I now serve as the lead physician for Outpatient Care New Albany General Internal Medicine.

It’s a privilege to be able to build relationships with my patients and to support them through their health journeys. I’m passionate about educating my patients about all of their individualized treatment options and empowering them to make healthy choices in their lives. In addition to primary and preventive care, I also specialize in chronic disease management, preoperative medicine and women’s health.

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is a very special place to work because there are abundant opportunities to continue to learn and grow as physicians. I love working with teams of highly motivated people who challenge me to deliver the best care possible every day.

When I’m not working, I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I grew up in Japan and also like to read Japanese novels.

No bad experiences at her office.

It was our first meeting. She listened, asked questions, provided multiple options for treatment, was very proactive and made me feel that all my concerns were valid.

She was very good at referring me for problems I have to the appropriate specialists.

Dr Li and the resident working with her we're both great.

  • Reviewed on Dec 10, 2021

This was my first visit with a new Dr. She spent a lot of time asking questions about my history and life. Probably more time during this one visit than my last provider spent with me in two years (including two physicals). That's what I was looking for. Felt like I was getting a treatment plan based on what was actually happening with me and not just on a perusal of my file. Notes and review of the visit (both while I was there and through MyChart) were also great and will be helpful.

Loved her! Very kind, attentive, knowledgeable respectful!
