About Me
I am an endocrinologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating endocrine disorders, including diabetes, parathyroid diseases and Addison’s disease. My patients can rely on me for high-quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter.
I enjoy helping patients with endocrinopathies transition from pediatric to adult care. Also, I am very passionate about metabolic bone health, lipid metabolism and weight management. During my training, I have been able to help multiple individuals with cystic fibrosis who also have diabetes.
I’m proud to work with such an exceptional multidisciplinary team to deliver the best care possible for our patients. I also appreciate the emphasis on medical education here at Ohio State.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Ackah has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
