As a pulmonologist and pulmonary hypertension specialist, I specialize in diagnosing and treating patients for conditions impacting the respiratory system, including their lungs and the blood vessels in the lungs. My patients can trust that I will do all I can to find the underlying cause of their lung disease and develop treatment plans that align with their needs and goals. I fully appreciate the interactions between the lungs and the heart, which allows me to better serve patients who also have complex heart disease.
My dual education in pediatric and adult pulmonology uniquely positions me to care for patients who have conditions that originated in childhood and for young adults in general. During my training, I found that patients with conditions that originated in childhood often don’t feel fully understood by adult health care providers, and that young adults often aren't optimally supported within either adult or pediatric health care systems. This inspired me to pursue both pediatric and adult pulmonology, to improve care for these underserved populations.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
