Biography
I chose a career in medicine because I am passionate about serving others and making a positive difference in their lives. As an internal medicine-pediatrics physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in caring for adults and children while they are in the hospital.
My responsibilities include serving as the director of patient experience for the Division of Hospital Medicine, where I lead efforts to elevate both the patient and provider experience. I am also an associate medical director for University Hospitals. I enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and I was proud to receive the Division of Hospital Medicine’s Physician Collaborator Award in 2023. I have also been recognized with an Early Career Achievement Award from The Ohio State University College of Medicine Center for Faculty Advancement, Mentoring, and Engagement.
My commitment to serving others has inspired me to get involved with global health efforts. I am the founding leader of the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center Global Health Interest Group, which strives to improve health outcomes for people around the world by connecting and educating faculty, fellows and resident physicians in all specialties. I am also the director of the Global Health Scholars Program for residents and fellows.
As an academic physician, educator and clinical scholar, my job includes helping to teach and train the next generation of clinicians. I am a clinical associate professor at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, and I have been honored with the Excellence in Teaching Award from the Department of Internal Medicine.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I volunteer with Ohio State’s certified therapy dog program, Buckeye Paws. I am also actively involved in professional organizations. I am a fellow with the American College of Physicians and a senior fellow with the Society of Hospital Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 11/3/2025, Dr. Clark has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
