Biography
As a plastic surgeon specializing in aesthetic procedures at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, my mission is to help patients feel more confident and comfortable in their own skin. I perform aesthetic surgeries of the face, breast and body, including facelifts, brow lift (blepharoplasty), breast augmentation, abdominoplasty and liposuction. I also perform gender-affirming chest feminization or chest masculinization, with or without nipple innervation.
What I love most about being a plastic surgeon is the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. I enjoy taking the time to listen to their stories, understand their concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan to help each person achieve their goals. I never lose sight of the fact that the procedures I perform can create a profound and lasting impact on someone’s life.
Beyond my clinical practice, I am committed to advancing the field through research. My work focuses on strategies to advance aesthetic and gender-affirming procedures and surgical techniques. I have co-authored articles published in peer-reviewed journals, including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and I’ve presented my findings at national conferences.
I’ve had the privilege of training under exceptional mentors, including surgeons who exemplified both technical excellence and compassionate care. Today, I carry those lessons forward as an educator, serving as an assistant professor of Plastic Surgery in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. It is an honor to help shape the next generation of plastic surgeons while continuing to refine and elevate the care we provide.
