Biography
As a physician assistant with the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the OSUCCC – James, I specialize in treating patients with breast cancer. My role also involves supporting the multidisciplinary Lymphedema Center of Excellence at The James. I am certified in indocyanine green (ICG) lymphangiography, a medical imaging technique to diagnose and monitor conditions including lymphedema, which is a possible side effect of cancer treatments.
I chose a career in health care because I have always been passionate about helping others and I am fascinated by medicine. I love that my job as a physician assistant allows me to combine the two every day. I decided to pursue plastic surgery after working with an exceptional general surgeon during my education, who served as a mentor and inspired my interest in the field.
