Biography
I am a physical therapist. I specialize in neurological rehabilitation for patients with stroke, brain injury, concussion, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neurological disorders. My practice focuses on helping individuals improve mobility, balance, function and quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation.
As a physical therapist in Neurological Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am passionate about providing individualized, evidence-based care that helps patients achieve their personal goals and maximize independence. My approach centers on partnering with each patient to develop a treatment plan that addresses their unique needs and supports long-term success.
I am a board-certified neurologic clinical specialist, and I completed the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program training at The Ohio State University School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. I have specialty training in advanced rehabilitation technologies, including FES-powered systems, Bioness®, Safegait®, the Indego Exoskeleton® and the Myolyn MyoCycle®. These tools allow me to provide innovative treatment options designed to enhance recovery and functional outcomes.
In addition to patient care, I serve as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students, as a faculty member in the Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency Program and as a guest lecturer for Doctor of Physical Therapy students in the School of Rehabilitation Sciences. Teaching and mentoring future clinicians helps me stay current with best practice recommendations and continuously strengthens the care I provide to my patients.
