Biography
I am a director of the Exercise Physiology/Metabolic Exercise Testing Program and a professor of clinical medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
I earned my medical degree from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. I completed my residency in internal medicine and received my master’s degree in public health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
I also completed a clinical fellowship in cardiology and advanced heart failure, pulmonary vascular disease and transplantation, as well as a research fellowship in the Vascular Biology and Hypertension Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
I am a member of numerous professional societies, including the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association and the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.
My interest in cardiopulmonary exercise testing has resulted in my current involvement in studies evaluating noninvasive cardiac output during exercise, as well as submaximal cardiopulmonary exercise systems in heart failure and pulmonary hypertension patients.

Dr Franco is the best. She saved my dad's life many years ago and remembers me every time I come.
There's nothing bad at all to say about Miss Veronica Frankco she was there when I first was diagnosed with heart failure. She is a very considerate person. I wish she was my doctor instead lol
