Biography
I am a plastic surgeon specializing in treating a wide range of hand, wrist and upper extremity conditions at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I also perform limb salvage procedures, including for both upper and lower extremity conditions.
With comprehensive training in both plastic and reconstructive surgery as well as hand surgery, I am uniquely equipped to address my patients’ complex needs. I commonly care for patients who require tendon repairs, fracture fixation and microsurgical reconstructive procedures to help them heal from traumatic injuries or cancer treatments.
I am committed to providing personalized care designed to help regain function, alleviate pain and help patients return to the activities that matter most to them. I strive to help patients achieve their best possible outcomes and restore their ability to live fully and confidently. Whether a patient is dealing with a common hand condition or a complex traumatic injury, I will guide them through their treatment options with expertise, empathy and compassion.
I chose to work in academic medicine because I love the inquisitive environment and the multidisciplinary approach to patient care. I also find tremendous satisfaction in educating the next generation of physicians and surgeons, in my role as a clinical assistant professor of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I had fantastic mentors who helped shape me into the surgeon and person I am today. I hope to pay it forward in my work with medical students, residents and fellows.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. The care provider was outstanding. She has a broad and in-depth understanding and expertise in hand issues. She addressed my issues and concerns directly and made excellent recommendations to alleviate my symptoms.
