About Me

Whitney R. Luke, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and completed her residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She subsequently completed a fellowship in interventional pain medicine at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, IA.

She is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, and is also subspecialty board certified in pain medicine.

Her clinical interests include cancer pain management, especially interventional management, cancer rehabilitation, chronic interventional pain management and neuromodulation including spinal cord stimulators.

I had the opportunity to meet with my physician prior to the procedure. At this time she re-explained the procedure and why this procedure was chosen. She verified that I understood the procedure and asked if I had any additional questions.
