Biography
As an internal medicine physician specializing in cardiology, my main clinical focus is treating adults with various forms of congenital heart disease. My practice includes an emphasis on caring for patients with congenital heart disease and heart failure. In this role, I work closely with the heart failure and transplant teams here at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and at Nationwide Children's Hospital. I also care for patients with acquired heart conditions such as coronary artery disease and pulmonary hypertension, and pregnant patients with heart disease.
I prioritize patient education and always take the time to ensure my patients understand their heart condition and all treatment options. I believe in shared decision-making and working collaboratively with patients to help improve their quality of life. My patients and their families can rely on me for honest communication and transparency throughout their health care journeys.

Consulting and related relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
