About Me
As a vascular and endovascular surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am passionate about helping to improve each patient’s quality of life. I specialize in all forms of vascular surgery including open and endovascular treatments for peripheral arterial diseases, aortic syndromes and venous diseases. I also commonly perform procedures such as thoracic and aortic aneurysm repairs, lower extremity peripheral interventions and carotid endarterectomies.
When patients see me, they can trust that I will take the time to educate them about their options and develop treatment plans customized to their individual needs. It’s a privilege to do this work at Ohio State alongside exceptional colleagues who are committed to patient-centered medicine.
My role includes helping to train the next generation of physicians. I serve as the director of the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency program at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I also lead small-group teaching sessions with residents.
When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, reading and cooking.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Very good
Informative Direct Respectful Not warm
The doctor was detached and came off as if I was disturbing her routine for the day. When asked questions, she often responded with "You'll have to ask your regular doctor". She determined that I needed an immediate test, and scheduled me for it for the first thing the next morning. BUT, nearly 2 weeks later, I had to call back and ask why I received no call back or follow up. I spent 2 weeks worrying that I might do something that might KILL me.

Very good
Would have liked more time to share my personal experience of my health not just what was in records that they saw. I dont know what all they used to evaluate my condition . Would have like a physical evaluation. And questions asked were not yes or no questions but didnt feel I had an opportunity to explain. Safly Too many other heslth issues that cloud the experience of my health so not easy to sort through
