About Me

As a vascular and endovascular surgeon at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I am passionate about helping to improve each patient’s quality of life. I specialize in all forms of vascular surgery including open and endovascular treatments for peripheral arterial diseases, aortic syndromes and venous diseases. I also commonly perform procedures such as thoracic and aortic aneurysm repairs, lower extremity peripheral interventions and carotid endarterectomies.

When patients see me, they can trust that I will take the time to educate them about their options and develop treatment plans customized to their individual needs. It’s a privilege to do this work at Ohio State alongside exceptional colleagues who are committed to patient-centered medicine.

My role includes helping to train the next generation of physicians. I serve as the director of the Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency program at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I also lead small-group teaching sessions with residents.

When I’m not working, I enjoy hiking, reading and cooking.

Consulting and Related Relationships

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

As of 09/29/2023, Dr. Teng has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
