Biography
I am a certified nurse practitioner in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in treating patients with liver conditions including hepatitis B and C, autoimmune liver disease, nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) and cirrhosis.
I believe in establishing a collaborative relationship with each patient. My patients can rely on me to listen and respond to all their concerns and spend adequate time explaining everything they need to know. I’m passionate about my work because it’s rewarding, on both a professional and personal level, to serve others and make a positive difference in their lives. I was honored to be recognized on National Doctors Day 2022 for the care, compassion and support I provide to my patients.
The Ohio State University is an exceptional place to work. The commitment to research is inspiring and the access to the most advanced resources enables us to provide exceptional care. I appreciate the academic medical center environment and, in my role, I also help train nurse practitioner students.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities and traveling.

Lot of information all at once. I needed to process the information with follow up questions. Ms Ma covered the topic well.
Can say enough about her, I am an old hillbilly with hearing problems and I'm use to people speaking slow. I informed the nurse of said hearing problems and she relayed that to Dr Ma. When the doctor came in she made it clear that she understood my problems and she took her mask off and spoke directly to me in a manner that I couldn't hear every word.
