About Me
I joined the Ohio State Division of Neuroradiology in 2012. A guiding principle in my clinical radiology practice is that every patient or referring provider deserves accurate, high-quality interpretations of imaging studies. I have contributed to national quality improvement and peer learning efforts as a member of the ACR RADPEER Peer Review Committee.
Neuroradiology education is an important component of my professional activities. In addition to daily clinical teaching, I critically review manuscripts for Neurographics (ASNR’s educational journal) and multiple radiology and clinical research journals. As a member of an ABR Item Writing Committee, I write and review board examination questions for the Diagnostic Radiology Certifying and Neuroradiology CAQ exams. I'm also a self-assessment CME reviewer for ABR.
I hold a PhD in anatomy and neurobiology in addition to prior training in chemical engineering, computer science and applied mathematics. I have varied research interests in neuroradiology and general radiology and am open to collaborations within and outside of Ohio State. My research includes recent machine learning projects in neurodegenerative disease and spine imaging. I currently serve on the ASNR Evidence-Based Medicine Committee and have served on Radiology Research Alliance task forces, including a recent one on artificial intelligence applications.
