As an advanced heart failure cardiologist, I specialize in advanced heart failure, cardiac transplantation and mechanical circulatory support. I commonly provide treatment for patients with congestive heart failure and cardiomyopathy. I believe patient education is my most important responsibility, as I work together with my patients to develop individualized care plans. I am passionate about my career because of the opportunity to offer life-changing treatments and develop meaningful relationships with patients and their families during the process.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center because of the range of treatment options we’re able to offer our patients. In my free time I enjoy running, traveling and spending time with my wife and children.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

He listened and answered everything. Spent more time than I thought he would.
He patiently listened to our concerns & thoroughly answered questions that we had, esp about heart monitor results, & plans for medications going forward. I was relieved to hear that he is pleased w/my current heart health, & I will try to follow his suggestions going forward & update him on my progress via my chart.
Everything was great. I completely trust Dr Lampert with my health and my heart condition.
Clear and articulate, listens well and gives good advice
Provider is excellent , locations ok despite driving all over Columbus to help make the appointment happen . We have taken appointments in Dublin , Upper Arlington , New Albany , East Columbus and the Ross to help with a timely schedule. The schedulers politely say " sorry that is all we have available. The.providers are never aware of this.
Very helpful
Dr. Lambert is always courteous and takes care of my needs.
Dr Lampert has been both my primary cardiologist, as well as my heart failure cardiologist for 9 years now. He has treated me for rather significant heart failure (low ejection fraction down around 39%) and his aggressive treatment reversed that trend and got me back up around 60 %. In addition to monitoring/treating me for heart failure, he has also been monitoring my aortic valve for increased stenosis, and has treated me for blood pressure and high cholesterol. He has always been very competent and thorough, as well patient with me in answering my many questions, including my concerns that I have messaged to him and Margaret on OSU's MyChart. A definite TOP Doctor and cardiologist. Also during my recent aortic valve replacement surgery, both Dr Lampert and RN Margaret were very helpful in both monitoring my recovery process and transitioning me back towards my normal routines and care.

Dr. Lampert is kind, intelligent, has a fantastic bedside manner. He speaks to us without any air of superiority and explains things well, simply and in detail, not over our heads but not "dumbing it down." He is very pleasant to speak with and easy to approach with questions. He is very knowledgeable and a fantastic doctor.

Good
Dr. Lampert had read my file before entering the exam room and was knowledgeable about pertinent medical history. He explained the tests I would be taking and the different treatment options depending on test results.
Dr. Lampert and every doctor, nurse or other caregiver I have had at The Ross as part of my transplant has been amazing. That extends to the PCA's, the personnel who clean rooms, deliver and prepare food and handle the administrative part of checking you in. Allowing Dr. Magorien to do my heart cath procedure since I have been treated by him since Day 1 was incredible as well.

Dr. Lambert is always great.
Dr Lampert has been my primary cardiologist dating back to 2016 when I had an ejection fraction around 40 and a PVC burden in the high 20s. Over the next couple years, he aggressively and proactively managed to get my EF up into the 60s. He also worked closely with electrophysiologist Dr Daoud to get my PVCs down below 10%. He has always been polite, thorough and receptive to my many questions and concerns. Also, he is always receptive to further communications on MyChart's messaging feature. DEFINITELY a TOP DOCTOR and cardiologist. I'm lucky to have him as my primary cardiologist !
