We have one surgical intensive care unit located on the fourth floor of West Doan Hall at University Hospital, and a 19-bed medical-surgical intensive care unit, located on the fourth floor of East Hospital. These ICUs take care of trauma, burn, transplant, cardio-thoracic surgery, surgical oncology, ENT, orthopedic, neurosurgery and general surgery patients.
Patients newly admitted to the hospital for burn treatment are cared for in the SICU. Burn patients are located on the ninth floor of West Doan Hall at University Hospital.
